The UCSD Center for Student Involvement – Communication and Leadership Peer Educators are pleased to present Go M.A.D. (Make A Difference), an interactive half-day conference to strengthen the communication and leadership skills required to enhance personal and professional growth.
Slated for Saturday, April 26th, 2014, on the UCSD Campus. Go M.A.D. will feature round table sessions and presentations by notable community figures from a variety of professional fields. Held in small groups of 10-20, our workshops allow participants to interact with our speakers directly and learn about how they have made a difference in their community. Registration is mandatory and dress code is business casual. We look forward to seeing you!
Our Learning Objectives this year:
1) To inspire and motivate students to take initiative and identify opportunities for positive change.
2) To improve implementation and maintenance of goals to engage leadership challenges and prepare for transition beyond the University.
3) To increase ownership and authenticity and develop a more holistic understanding of difference.
